2026 AFC Officer Results

President-Elect: Dr. Brent Ferns, Santa Fe College

Vice President 1 for Commissions: Dr. Belkis Cabrera, Miami Dade College

Vice President 2 for Regions & Chapters: Dr. Mark McKinney, St. Petersburg College

Immediate Past President: Dr. Mark Ross, Miami Dade College

These officers will work to advance the Florida College System, advocate for our 28 institutions and 40,000+ professionals, and support initiatives that improve student success outcomes across the state. Their leadership will help guide AFC as we address the evolving needs of Florida’s colleges and the communities we serve.
