Level Up Series: What it Really Takes to be a Dean

AFC’s Level Up series continues with a conversation featuring Dr. Raquel Hairston, Dean of Dual Enrollment at St. Petersburg College. The series pulls back the curtain on college leadership, giving members a closer look at the people guiding Florida’s colleges and the journeys that brought them there.
Dr. Hairston will be joined by Dr. Mark McKinney, Dean of Computer and Information Technology at St. Petersburg College, for a moderated conversation covering a day in the life of a dean, the path that led her to this role, and what she wants members across the system to know about her work. The discussion will run for 20 minutes, followed by live audience questions.
