The Florida College System (FCS) is comprised of 28 public colleges authorized to award certificates, associate degrees, and baccalaureate degrees. This section also includes system-level entities such as the Council of Presidents and the Council of Trustees, which collectively support collaboration, coordination, and advancement across the Florida College System.
In addition to these system-level entities, FCS is supported by several continuing subcouncils that focus on key functional areas of the college system, including:
- Council on Instructional Affairs (CIA)
- Council on Business Affairs (COBA)
- Council on Student Affairs (CSA)
- Council on Workforce Education (CWE)
- Florida Council for Resource Development (FCRD)
Through its partnership with the Florida College System, the Association of Florida Colleges (AFC) is redesigning how this information is organized and presented—making it more accessible, consistent, and easier to navigate for council members and stakeholders across the state.
